Hallockville Museum Farm has been awarded a $9,788 grant by the Robert David Lion Gardiner Foundation to be used to create a high-tech, virtual Sustainability Trail at Hallockville. The trail will make use of some 30 informational guide signs that already dot the Hallockville grounds.  Each sign will be fitted with a QR code.  When scanned by a tour taker with a camera app on a smartphone, an audio narration will pop up along with photos or videos – in some cases, both – that would bring a particular sustainability practice to life.
